To use this section the User has to complete 3 easy steps:

• Register/Login on the site
• Go to the “Interact with housing societies” page located at the top left on the website.   
• On the right side of the page, you will find 3 tabs “START A NEW DISCUSSION/SHOWCASE YOUR ACHIEVEMENT/INITIATE A POLL”.  Press any tab to start a discussion, showcase your achievement or to initiate a poll.  

In the Discussion section, a person (a User – representative of a Housing society) can ask for advice from other societies on any topic and ask them to share their experiences on issues which the person is presently facing.Whereas, in the Achievement section, a person (A User – representative of a Housing Society) can boast of/inform about their accomplishments in their society and share their experience with other societies so that they can also benefit from said achievements. The Poll section is one that informs what majority of Housing societies think on any specific matter. One can initiate a Poll on any specific issue and can generate up to three reply options. 

At the right of the web page you will find three action tabs which say

• ASK A QUESTION TO DISCUSS
• SHOWCASE YOUR ACHIEVEMENT
• INITIATE AN OPINION POLL

Once you press any of these tabs, a window will open up. You will have to select the category and service to which your topic relates. If you do not find relevant category or service, you can choose ‘Other’ as a category and service. After that, you will have to enter the topic you are interested in. You can also mention tags which are related to your topic. After this, you can describe the topic in detail in the description box.  You can also upload photos, Audio and Video related to your topic and complete the post by pressing the POST tab. The size of the photos (only JPEG and PNG formats) shall not exceed 1Mb. Similarly, the size limit for Video file (only MP4 format) is 10Mb and for Audio file (only OOG and WAV, MP3 formats) is 5Mb.

Yes, you can upload up to 4 photos, 1 video and 1 audio file to Discussion and Achievement sections.  The size of the photos (only JPEG and PNG formats) shall not exceed 1Mb.  Similarly, the size limit for Video file (only MP4 formats) is 10Mb and for Audio file (only OOG and WAV, MP3 formats) is 5Mb. 

Once you click on the “INTERACT WITH HOUSING SOCIETIES” tab, you will land on the Forum page. Here you will find three kind of topics, DISCUSSION, ACHIEVEMENT and POLL.  (you can read about these sections in detail above in point no. 3).  By default, all the three topics will be displayed on the page in the order of their creation with the latest at the top.  You can also filter the topics by TRENDING, LATEST and ALL filters.  On the right, you will have top trending tags.  By clicking on the search button at the right of the page, you can go back to the main FORUM page and choose any desired topic using the filters. 

This section displays other questions / topics in circulation, which are related to the topic open or being discussed on the page at that time.  By clicking on the titles mentioned under this section, you can go to the detailed page of that particular discussion at participate in it.

This section displays top issues being discussed and viewed on the website.  By clicking on the titles of the discussions mentioned under this section, you can go to the detailed page of that particular discussion at participate in it.  

This section displays the tags used in the most discussed topics / discussions falling under different services. By clicking on the tags mentioned under this section, you can go to the Listing page having all the discussions displayed under that particular tag.  

You need to do the following activities to navigate this section:

1. Click on the INTERACT WITH HOUSING SOCIEITES tab at the top left of the Home page. 
2. You will land on a page where the latest issues are discussed. To find a topic you are interested in, you can filter your search through FILTERs by choosing Categories and Services or Keywords related to the topic or simply scroll down.
3. You can read and write the comment on any topic by clicking the title of the discussion or by clicking READ MORE.
4. While reading any discussion, you can also find other discussions related to your topic on the right side of the web page under the RELATED QUESTIONS section located at the right side of the web page.
5. In the section TOP DISCUSSIONS  at the right of the page, you can find and check the most viewed topics.  You can participate in these discussions by clicking on the title, whichever you are interested in.  
6. You can also read and participate in other interested discussions / achievements / polls by clicking on the related tags in the section TRENDING TAGS located at the right of the page (under TOP DISCUSSION section). 
7. To go back to the main page or to read other topics not related to your current topic click on QUESTIONS (green in colour) located at the top left of the web page. Scroll down the page or use filters to find other interested topics. 
8. You can start a new Discussion or boast of your achievements or start a Poll by clicking any of the three tabs- START A DISCUSSION / SHOWCASE YOUR ACHIEVEMENT / INITIATE AN OPINION POLL respectively, located at top right of the main page.
